Water-Soluble Pigment for Cement, Plaster - 100ml Bottle
Craft projects with our Water Soluble Pigment, specially formulated for use with cement, plaster, Jesmonite, and more.
Key Features:
- Low Cost Pigments: Made with iron oxide, this pigment offers low cost, intense color saturation and long-lasting durability.
- Versatile Application: Perfect for coloring cement, gypsum, plaster, Eco resin, Jesmonite, and selenite ideal for art, home décor, and custom design projects.
- Eco-Friendly & Easy to Use: The water based formula ensures easy mixing, effortless cleanup, and a safer experience for you and the environment.
- Smooth Matte Finish: Achieve a professional, matte look that enhances the texture and detail of your finished work.
Important:
- Always mix the pigment into your mixing water first and blend well. Then slowly add your cement/plaster mixture. This ensures better dispersion.
- If your result is too pale, increase the pigment percentage. For strong color: Use 2–5% pigment by weight of cement (can go up to 8% for deep shades).
- When using as pour-able cement in molds, always use fast-setting cement or add a cement curing accelerator. Slow-curing mixes (Initial Setting Time: 2Hrs or more) with too much water can cause the pigment to settle, resulting in faded colors and staining at the bottom of the mold.
- Liquid pigments (iron oxide-based), especially when used in cement mixtures, can penetrate into silicone molds and cause permanent staining. To reduce or prevent this, apply a mold release agent such as silicone oil, petroleum jelly, or a commercial mold release spray before pouring. This creates a protective barrier on the mold surface, helping to prevent pigment absorption and staining.
Whether you're casting, molding, or experimenting with new materials, this 100ml bottle of pigment brings bold color and dependable quality to every creation.

Exellent pigment, colors are good
Lovely colors, mix well with water and cement, make sure you use quick setting cement otherwise all the pigments will settle in the bottom. If you don't have ask artland, they gave me some cement drying powder, I had to do some experiments to figure out how exactly do this, in the end success!!
