Gum Rosin (also called Colophony, pine rosin) Chunks, light yellow-amber color, is a solid form of resin obtained from pines. Used in printing inks, varnishes, adhesives/glues, soap, paper sizing, soda, soldering fluxes, sealing wax and depilatory wax. Rosin is a specific type of resin, a transparent solid made from the crude gum of pine and spruce trees. Made through distillation with removing gum turpentine.
