Our Journey
2013 - The Beginning: Our journey started when we helped fulfill a special clear casting resin requirement for the boat-building industry using materials sourced from Australia.
2014 - Local Operations Begin: We officially started operations in Sri Lanka under the name Techshop.
2016 - Expanding into Crafts: As the crafting community grew, we launched ART N’ CRAFT, focusing on resin art, candle making, polymer clay, and creative craft supplies.
2023 - The Birth of ARTLAND: We rebranded our retail business as ARTLAND with a stronger focus on resin art and creative materials for makers, businesses, and industries.
Our manufacturing brand, Crystalrock, now produces resin pigments, silicone molds, polymer clay, candle wicks, and specialty additives for resin, candle, and gypsum related industries.

Our founder, Bawantha Perera, has been involved in creating and maintaining educational non-profit websites dedicated to Sri Lankan history.
- Lankapura.com - Started in 2005, this website contains a large collection of rare and historic photographs documenting Sri Lanka’s visual history.
- Mahavamsa.org - Established in 2007, this educational resource is dedicated to the Mahavamsa, Sri Lanka’s ancient historical chronicle.
