Tiny air bubbles and persistent foam can spoil the appearance and finish of many water-based mixtures. This Silicone Defoamer (Anti-Foaming Liquid) helps control foam during mixing, making it easier to achieve smoother, cleaner results with fewer surface defects.
Suitable for a wide range of water-based formulations, this concentrated silicone-based defoamer works by quickly breaking foam and helping trapped air escape more easily. It is useful for craft projects, decorative casting, coatings, paints, sealers, and construction mixes where excessive foam can reduce surface quality.
Whether you're casting decorative gypsum pieces, mixing Jesmonite-style materials, preparing cement products, or making your own acrylic coatings, a small amount of defoamer can noticeably improve the final finish.

Recommended Dosage: Always begin with the lowest recommended amount. Excessive defoamer may reduce coating quality or create surface defects.

Example: For a 1 kg water-based mixture, start with approximately 0.5–2 ml depending on the application.
How to Add:
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Measure the required amount accurately.
- Add the defoamer to the liquid phase before or during mixing.
- Mix thoroughly until evenly dispersed.
- If foam remains, add only a very small additional amount.
- Test on a small batch before large-scale production.
What Not To Do:
- Do not exceed the recommended dosage unless testing confirms it is necessary.
- Do not assume more defoamer gives better results too much may cause craters, fisheyes, or poor surface appearance.
- Do not use in solvent-based products unless compatibility has been tested.
- Do not mix with other additives without performing a compatibility test.
- Do not freeze the product.
- Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
