Gypsum Defoamer, Air Bubble Remover, Anti-Foam Liquid for Gypsum

Gypsum Defoamer is a concentrated anti-foam liquid made for hand-mixed gypsum, Plaster of Paris (POP), cement & mineral casting powders. A small amount helps reduce trapped air and surface bubbles, giving castings a smoother finish with fewer pinholes.

Add the defoamer to the measured mixing water before adding the dry powder. This helps distribute it evenly throughout the slurry. It is useful for gypsum crafts, sculptures, decorative castings, aroma stones, mould work and small cement projects.

Results may vary depending on the powder, water ratio & mixing method. Start with the lowest recommended amount, mix gently and increase only when necessary. Excessive use may delay setting or affect the finished casting.

How to Use:

• Shake well before use.
• Add 0.1-0.2% based on the dry powder weight:
  100 g powder: 0.1-0.2 g
  500 g powder: 0.5-1 g
  1 kg powder: 1-2 g
• Mix the defoamer into the measured water first. Then gradually add the gypsum, POP or cement & mix without excessive whipping. Around 10 drops may equal 1 g, but drop size can vary, so weighing is recommended.
