Stainless Steel Coil Jig Rod, 1.5-3.5mm

This stainless steel coil jig rod helps you wrap wire into small, even coils by hand. With five winding sizes on one rod, this wire coil winding tool is useful for jewellery making, craft wire-work and small hobby projects where matching coil sizes matters.

The stepped rod has 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm & 3.5 mm diameter sections. Simply choose a section and wrap your wire around it. Each winding section is approximately 13 mm long, giving you space to form several turns while keeping the tool compact.

For jewellery and decorative work, you can use it to make wire spirals, coiled beads and small coil details. It also works as a manual mandrel for resistance wire winding. The finished coil may spring open slightly after removal, depending on the wire material and hardness.

How to use: Select the required diameter, hold one end of the wire firmly and wrap it around the rod with steady tension. Keep the turns close together for a tight coil, or leave gaps for a spaced design. Slide the finished coil off carefully.

Wipe the rod after use & store it dry. Handle cut wire ends & steel brush bristles carefully, as they can be sharp.
