This high surface area, porous alumina compound works through adsorption, locking in water molecules without dissolving or changing form. It’s reusable and regenerable at high temperatures, making it a cost effective long term solution for dehumidification.
Special Note: Activated alumina may cause fading or discoloration in some flower types, especially blue, purple, and red tones, due to its naturally higher pH level. For color sensitive flower drying, silica gel is recommended as a safer alternative.
