It's essential to monitor temperature & humidity when you are serious about epoxy resin craftwork, especially when you work with large quantities of expensive, high-quality epoxy resin. The finished product quality depends on working temperature and humidity, epoxy resins sensitive to low or high temperature, and high humidity affects the curing and quality of the finished resin.

• Warm and dry conditions are best when working with Epoxy Resin. The ideal working temperature is 24-30C with 60% humidity, but you can work with anything below 80%.
• Curing time is dependent on room temperature: warmer temperatures accelerate curing, and colder temperatures slow curing.

WHY YOU NEED AS TEMPERATURE METER/HUMIDITY METER WHEN YOU WORK WITH EPOXY RESIN'S?

All year round average temperature (27.5 °C) is favorable in most parts of Sri Lanka. However, high humidity may affect epoxy resins negatively (the common effect is Amine Blushing), so it's essential to keep the humidity low or work on low humid days or might need to make a few adjustments to your techniques.
