Made from natural vegetable sources, this soy wax represents sustainability and performance. The oily version is softer with a creamier finish and excellent fragrance retention, making it a top choice for container candles such as jars and tins. With a lower melting point of around 52–55 °C, it blends fragrance easily and produces candles with a smooth glass finish and long burn time.

Difference Between Oily & Dry Soy Wax

1. Oily Soy Wax: Softer, creamier, and holds fragrance better. Best for container candles, where scent throw and smooth finish are most important.
2. Dry Soy Wax: Harder and more brittle, with less fragrance retention. Best for pillar candles, molded candles, and wax melts, where structure and stability matter more.

What You Should Know

1. Warm containers before pouring and allow slow cooling for the best finish.
2. Some frosting (blooming) is normal with soy wax, especially when dyes are added.
