Water Soluble Pigment for Cement, Gypsum & Plaster of Paris 100ml

If you need an easy way to add strong, even color to cement, gypsum, or plaster projects, this water soluble pigment is a practical choice. It mixes easily, gives a smooth matte finish, and works well for casting and décor work.

This water soluble pigment is specially formulated for coloring cement, gypsum, plaster of paris, Jesmonite, eco resin, and similar mineral-based materials. It is iron oxide based, making it cost-effective while still delivering rich, stable colors. Because it is water based, it blends smoothly into your mix and is simple to clean up after use. Ideal for art projects, home décor items, and custom cast pieces where consistent color matters.

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Iron oxide based pigment for low cost and long-lasting color
  • Suitable for cement, gypsum, POP, Jesmonite, eco resin, and selenite
  • Water based formula for easy mixing and safer handling
  • Produces a smooth, professional matte finish
  • Ideal for casting, molding, and decorative projects

Usage Notes:

  1. Always mix the pigment into water first, then add cement or plaster slowly for best dispersion
  2. Typical dosage is 1 to 2 percent by weight of cement, up to 5 percent for deeper shades
  3. For mold casting, use fast-setting cement or a curing accelerator to avoid pigment settling
  4. Liquid iron oxide pigments may stain silicone molds; apply a mold release such as silicone oil or petroleum jelly before pouring

    Exellent pigment, colors are good

Lovely colors, mix well with water and cement, make sure you use quick setting cement otherwise all the pigments will settle in the bottom. If you don't have ask artland, they gave me some cement drying powder, I had to do some experiments to figure out how exactly do this, in the end success!!
