Long Rod Silicone Candle Mold, 2-Cavity Type Taper Candle Mould

Make slim taper and pillar candles for table décor, scented candle sets and handmade gifts with this long rod silicone candle mold. The fold-and-open design allows the finished candle to be removed without stretching or pulling it through a narrow opening.

Three sides of the mold lock together through fitted silicone seams. When correctly closed and secured, these seams help prevent melted wax from leaking during pouring. A candle wick holder is included to keep the wick centred while the wax cools.

The flexible, reusable silicone has a smooth inner surface, giving the candle a neat cylindrical finish. A fine seam line may sometimes appear and can be trimmed after the candle has fully hardened.

This mold is suitable for paraffin wax, beeswax, palm wax and many candle-wax blends. It may also be tested with soap, epoxy resin, soft clay and casting plaster.

How to Use: Close all three silicone seams firmly and place the mold upright on a stable surface. Insert the wick, secure it with the included holder and slowly pour the melted wax. Allow the candle to cool and harden completely before opening the mold. The finished candle is a taper candle, specifically a straight taper candle with a shouldered top (where the wick exits).
