Emulsifying Wax (E-Wax), Cosmetic Grade 100 g

Emulsifying wax helps oil & water blend when making creams & lotions. It also gives them a smooth, creamy feel & helps reduce separation. Use it in recipes where oils, butters and water need to come together.

Common uses

• Face, hand & body creams
• Body lotions & lighter body milks
• Hair creams & styling lotions

You can also use E-Wax in cleansing creams, makeup removal lotions, massage creams & creamy face or body scrubs. The finished texture depends on the full recipe: a light lotion uses a different balance of oil, water & wax than a thick cream production.

How to use: Add E-Wax to the oil part of your recipe and heat gently until melted. Heat the water part separately, then combine and mix well as it cools. Follow your supplier’s use rate for this particular E-Wax blend.

E-Wax is a cosmetic making ingredient, not a ready-to-use cream or a preservative. Products made with water need a suitable preservative.
