Before use, adhere to these essential precautions:

• Always use kiln paper to prevent glass from sticking to the kiln tray. Replace the paper after each use.
• Store the microwave kiln in a moisture-proof environment to prevent discoloration of the kiln paper.
• Avoid placing the hot microwave kiln on surfaces such as wood or plastic to prevent damage.
• Refrain from opening the kiln during the cooling process to avoid introducing cold air, which could harm the kiln.

Follow these simple steps for optimal results:

• Ensure your microwave oven is at least 1000 watts for optimal performance.
• Clean both the glass and kiln tray thoroughly before each use.
• Cut the kiln paper slightly larger than your glass pieces and place it on the kiln tray.
• Position the kiln tray in the microwave oven, cover it with the kiln lid, and set the microwave temperature to "HIGH" for approximately 6-8 minutes.
• Monitor the kiln's top hole, which will glow orange when reaching fusing temperatures.
• Once firing is complete, carefully remove the kiln using insulated gloves and allow it to cool on a kiln shelf for approximately 30 minutes.
• Experiment with firing times to achieve your desired results, typically ranging from 6 to 16 minutes.
