Aven Adjustable Piercing Saw (Jewelers Hand Saw)

Aven Piercing Saw, often called a jeweller’s saw, is a smaller version of a coping saw. It is fitted with an very fine blade and is specifically designed for cutting thin sheet metal (sof metals) up to 1mm thick such as gold, silver, aluminium, copper, & brass. The steel frame is adjustable to accommodate different blade lengths allowing broken blades to be re-used. A lubricant such as beeswax can be used for smooth cutting performance.

PLEASE NOTE: This saw frame doesn't comes with blades, must purchase blades separately. When use, saw blades easily break, so it's best to purchase additional saw blades before start your project.

The Piercing Saw can used to cut shapes in soft metal (non-ferrous sheet metal), such as brass, copper, nickel silver, Gold. Saw holds a very fine blade, depending on the skill & experience of the user, it is capable of making very accurate work.
The fine blade is held in position by fastenings, at each end of the frame, tightened by wing nuts.
