Plaster of Paris vs. Gypsum | Key Difference
Plaster of Paris is made by heating gypsum to remove moisture, resulting in a fine, fast-setting powder ideal for casting and moulding. Gypsum is the raw mineral form, often used for wall finishes, chalk, and larger construction projects. For detailed craft work, Plaster of Paris is best. For broader applications, see our gypsum powder available at Artland.

Consistency Type, Water to : POP Ratio % (by weight)

  1. Pour-able Slurry 45-50g Water : 100g Plaster (Casting with molds, general use)
